President George W. Bush told a senior Beijing envoy that Chinese President Hu Jintao should explain to the American public how he intends to rectify the trade imbalance between the two countries in a visit to the US next week, the White House said.
Bush clarified his reasons for asking the leader of another country to address the American people by saying, "I do not feel like learning about 'trade imbalance' and then talking about it on TV, also his English is more good than mine."
In recent weeks, the European Union complained about trade imbalance with China as well. To this the Chinese retorted that they make the product, it is the country's fault for buying it. Maybe Walmart should address the American public to explain the trade imbalance.
Sometimes I wonder what would be a better job a politician or a lobbyist. Dang politics make things more complicated then it really is sort of like a two word answere and they turn it into a bill 40 pages long while spending billions to try to pass the bill.
I think all Bush is really trying to say is "buy some of the 'Made in the USA' good dude and lets go to the ranch and chill dog." I guess I will have to turn into the Colbert Report to get a full understanding.
Anyways nice blog!
