Playing sports often forms blisters on the feet and sometimes those blisters do not pop, thus leaving the
juice to ferment inside your skin. About three weeks ago, I formed a blister deep in the skin and it did not pop. Gradually, the big toe became more and more painful and finally, it began to change color to a deep black and blue, like a terrible bruise. My coworkers beseeched me to go to the hospital and have a small proceedure performed to take out the puss. This proceedure was essentially a doctor cutting off my callus and drainign the juice with a syringe. Here is the final product.
Disgusting.
